OUR FOUNDER

ALBERT ANTEBI

Albert Antebi spent his childhood in Aleppo, Syria where he lived until he was 18. Due to increasing geopolitical instability, he emigrated to America in 1973. With only $700 in his pocket and without knowing a single word of English, Albert set out to build his American dream.

Always resourceful and intelligent, Albert learned the language by observing passersby at his first job in America. After honing his business skills and saving up every penny he could, he began a small operation selling shoes. Carrying a humble suitcase of samples from store to store in New York City, Albert planted the seed that eventually became Orly as we know it today.

Since the inception of the company, we have extended the dream of accessible fashion, exceptional value and reliable fulfillment to new divisions of home and fashion. Albert’s hard work continues to inspire our team as we move into the future of Orly Corp.
